Our client is implementing a group-level Security Monitoring Centre (SMC) in terms of architecture, processes, technologies and organisation taking into account existing capabilities. The project is looking for a Network and Security Engineer to support the SMC project.

The Network and Security Engineer will manage the lab and support the design and implementation of the Security Monitoring Centre including providing technical direction and guidance (and working with local production). Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

· Engineering support, research and test for the project

· provide technical oversight for the technologies and security policies associated with (but

not limited to) Data, Processes and Systems including Servers, Network Devices, Storage

Area Networks, VPN, Firewalls, etc.

· Support the Technical Design Authority and the project team

· Other duties including acting as Project Analyst for various pilot locations.

Skills:

- Fluent English, French is a plus

- Business IT / Computer Science Degree or equivalent experience

- CISSP, CISM or GSEC

- Network Security qualifications (Juniper, Cisco, etc..)

- Hands-on experience of systems such as Windows servers, Unix servers (Solaris, AIX, routers and networks in general

- Hands-on experience of Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), Firewalls, Proxy Servers, Antivirus, Network Access Controls (NAC), Vulnerability Scanners and other network security infrastructure

- Knowledge of Log Management and Intelligence (LMI)

- Experience of large Network infrastructure

- Technical knowledge of at least one Security Incident and Event Manager (SIEM) product (e.g., ArcSight, RSA, LogLogic, Symantec, Novell, etc…)

Project:

- Startdate: ASAP

- Enddate: 6 months + extension

- Area: Brussels – Occasional trips to Paris and pilot locations (Europe and USA) – 40%

Description:
This person will work within the Data Center management team on a number of projects to inventarise the DC resources and DC services we deliver to our clients. He/She will have to formalize the identified DC services in SLAs and underpin those SLAs with Operational Level Agreements with our Service Provider..

Business context – A degree in Computer Sciences or equal by experience.- Excellent knowledge of English, oral and written – Minimum 5 years experience in Datacenter service delivery, physical and technical operations – Hands-on experience in Datacenter architecture and infrastructure ( Network, Telecom and Security). – Experience in describing, designing and managing Datacenter Services. – Knowledge and experience in writing SLA’s and OLA’s. – Experience with implementing Datacenter processes and Datacenter services. – A good knowledge of ITIL V3 methodology (IT Delivery Management / SLA Management) is highly desirable. – Precedent experience in an international organization or an equivalent project level is desired.- Qualified individuals will mandatorily have a proven track record in Datacenter management with an extensive analytical capability. – Demonstrate experience of working in an IT Service Management capacity. – A great ability to synthesize information in a complex, decentralized and large-scale environment. – Be able to quickly adapt and integrate the BNPP Fortis situation and standards while being autonomous and rigorous.

Technical context – Taking part in designing networks and selecting network/telecoms software and hardware – Defining, implementing and administrating data network infrastructure – Intervening as part of projects in a support capacity on network issues – Providing network incident management – Taking part in compliance reviews and checking the implementation of group policy

Principal responsibilities: – Reviewing the choice of equipment for networks and for telephony – Installing networks as regards both hardware and software – Taking responsibility for the consistency of transmission systems, carriers, standards and protocols – Being an initiator of ideas for integrating cutting-edge Technologies

Project: – Startdate: ASAP – Enddate: 6 months – Area: Brussels (A number of visits to our decentralised Data rooms all over Belgium will be necessary)
