Datacenter Service Consultant

Datacenter Service Consultant area Brussels

Description:
This person will work within the Data Center management team on a number of projects to inventarise the DC resources and DC services we deliver to our clients. He/She will have to formalize the identified DC services in SLAs and underpin those SLAs with Operational Level Agreements with our Service Provider..

Business context
- A degree in Computer Sciences or equal by experience.- Excellent knowledge of English, oral and written
- Minimum 5 years experience in Datacenter service delivery, physical and technical operations
- Hands-on experience in Datacenter architecture and infrastructure ( Network, Telecom and Security).
- Experience in describing, designing and managing Datacenter Services.
- Knowledge and experience in writing SLA’s and OLA’s.
- Experience with implementing Datacenter processes and Datacenter services.
- A good knowledge of ITIL V3 methodology (IT Delivery Management / SLA Management) is highly desirable.
- Precedent experience in an international organization or an equivalent project level is desired.- Qualified individuals will mandatorily have a proven track record in Datacenter management with an extensive analytical capability.
- Demonstrate experience of working in an IT Service Management capacity.
- A great ability to synthesize information in a complex, decentralized and large-scale environment.
- Be able to quickly adapt and integrate the BNPP Fortis situation and standards while being autonomous and rigorous.

Technical context
- Taking part in designing networks and selecting network/telecoms software and hardware
- Defining, implementing and administrating data network infrastructure
- Intervening as part of projects in a support capacity on network issues
- Providing network incident management
- Taking part in compliance reviews and checking the implementation of group policy

Principal responsibilities:
- Reviewing the choice of equipment for networks and for telephony
- Installing networks as regards both hardware and software
- Taking responsibility for the consistency of transmission systems, carriers, standards and protocols
- Being an initiator of ideas for integrating cutting-edge Technologies

- Area: Brussels (A number of visits to our decentralised Data rooms all over Belgium will be necessary)
